  • In north central Florida, USA (The Good Ol' Sunny South) certain folk-pronunciations abound. Cosy is pronounced "coozy". Suite, as in "bedroom suite", is a homophone of the word describing the 2- or 3-piece assemblage of dressy clothing that professional men and women don for work. Sometimes I wince and want to go all Mr. Fawlty on them.
